Loudr Alarm
Terms of Service
Last updated 30 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Loudr ("we", "us") covering your use of the Loudr Alarm iOS app. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
What Loudr Alarm is
Loudr Alarm is an alarm clock that requires you to complete a task — a puzzle, or a physical action — before the alarm stops. Completing wake-ups feeds a virtual pet inside the app. The pet is a game mechanic. It is not real and has no value outside the app.
Read this one
Do not rely on Loudr Alarm as your only alarm for anything that matters. It is consumer software running on a phone you control, and it can fail to wake you for reasons entirely outside our hands — the device being powered off, out of battery, in silent or Focus mode, in Low Power Mode, notifications being disabled, iOS delaying or withholding a notification, a software update, or a bug.
If missing a wake-up would cost you a flight, an exam, a shift, a dose of medication, or anything else you cannot afford to miss, set a second alarm on a separate device. We are not liable for anything that follows from an alarm that does not fire, fires late, or is silenced.
Physical missions and your health
Some missions ask you to move — walking, squats, push-ups, shaking the phone. By using them you confirm you are physically able to do so safely. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort, and speak to a doctor before using physical missions if you have any condition that makes exercise risky. Take particular care doing these things just after waking, in the dark, or near stairs and furniture.
You are responsible for your own safety and your surroundings. Do not use any mission while driving or operating machinery.
Subscriptions and payment
Loudr Alarm is free to use with a limited set of missions, tones and difficulty levels. Premium unlocks the rest and is sold as a subscription (weekly, monthly or annual) or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive or handle your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
- Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
- Cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
- Prices vary by region and may change. We'll tell you before a change affects a renewal.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their policy — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds directly. Nothing here limits statutory rights you may have under your local consumer law.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app; don't try to bypass premium gating or fake purchase status; don't use the app unlawfully or interfere with its operation. We may suspend access if you do.
Our content
The app, its artwork, pet characters, sounds, copy and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Bundled audio is licensed from its respective rights holders. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app — you don't get ownership of anything in it.
Content you create
Alarm labels, pet names and Photo Match reference photos stay on your device. You keep whatever rights you have in them. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app altogether. We'll give reasonable notice where we can. If we discontinue the app entirely, we'll handle outstanding lifetime purchases fairly.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that an alarm will fire at the intended time on every occasion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, earnings, appointments or travel, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the app. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law does not permit it.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or for support, and is not liable for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute — except that you may bring a claim in your local courts where your consumer law entitles you to, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
